My brother, his properties and his big mouth...

My brother a resident of the US for almost 7 years now have gained several properties already in his place. In fact he's been mocking me already of the what's and how's of the acquisition of a certain property. Christ! how the hell would I know? I've never been into his place neither had I experienced acquiring properties in the US.

Tired of his blah blah blah... I coerced my self to research about property management and the likes and guess what? I think he had just found what he was looking for. What I did? I sent him this link -> Real Property Management.

And sent him this;

Web Hosting, Entertainment, Marketing and a lot more!!!

"In today's competitive world reliable web hosting is very critical especially for the success of an online businesses. You need to seek a web hosting company that can provide you with these critical components and much more", I actually took this statement from this site -> http://webhostinggeeks.com/; and my personal point of view over this issue is that; This is so true!!!

While others think of some website as a source of entertainment there are several others who think otherwise. The world of internet is a complex world that you can almost access every single thing on it. And that while others are so amazed on the things they see in the net there are several other who earn out of all of these.

The huge world of internet is a very good venue to broaden the kind of business you have depending on the kind of marketing you do. This is where web hosting play a vital role. Bottom line is, there is there is always the essence of marketing in everything we do.

But with a site like -> http://webhostinggeeks.com/ you can never go wrong. With multiple domain web hosting there are greater chances for your business's website to be seen by a lot of internet surfers hence referrals will flood your offices eventually.

Wanna learn more of web hosting? - take click and have a peak! -> webhosting

The legendary : Manila Zoo

As you may probably know our flight to UAE was moved to May 29 2009, so we are practically stranded in Manila for quite a long period of time.

So we decided so since were already here in Manila we might as well take the opportunity of strolling around the place.

First Stop - MANILA ZOO

Like the crocodile park in Davao, as expected there are a lot of exotic animals on display. Elephants, Tigers, Snakes not much of Eagles and other wild animals caged. To show you some I took the liberty of posting pics for your eye's delight.

LANDSCAPING AND ARIZONA...

It's kinda lucky that we are here in the Philippines because its always cloudy and sunny and just some rains the whole year through. We don't get to prepare large shovels in case a large bulk of snow gets stocked in your doorway.

I happen to have a nurse friend in Arizona, we were actually talking about the weather and she chatted;

In Arizona, you'll probably hear these lines...

"Yep, the 80 degree days are out of this world. I can finally take my kids to the park and both of us enjoy ourselves".

"Okay, we have monsoon threads and stuff, but we just need a year round one to talk about...weather related issues"!

"How great is this coming weekend in Phoenix??!? 82 degrees on Saturday"!

It's getting warmer in Arizona and that means there are a lot of things to do within the place. Since my Filipino friend use to have a beautiful garden here in the Philippines she opted to go landscaping for Arizona weather are really suited for activities like these. In fact she told me one web site where she got her ideas, you wanna know guys? click on this - > "garden galleries". She will be sending me some pictures as soon as she is through with her landscaping project.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY PAL GETS SO SO SO TIRED!!!

He's knocked out!

And he's bound to take the nap of the century!!!

More than the loss of consciousness Manny Pacquiao's punches can bring, he gets out of consciousness via a very sweet silent sleep. And hell! he wouldn't even care if he's at work or not! nyaahhh!

Here is a pic taken during one of her soundless naps in East Wing. Ayee, the devil with the lens took a shot of him while he was out wandering in the vast dreamland!!!!

ZZZzzzzzzz..... very silent indeed!

Rustic Furniture , of high and regal interest ...

What is my understanding of a rustic furniture ?

It would have to be something that is elaborated in wood, wickers, weaves, other handcraft materials. But personally, the rustic furniture on my mind should be something that would surpass the myth of being exclusive pieces for rock atmospheres, to become the option number one in contemporary decoration.

Many critics consider that the furniture done in series cannot be called rustic because they consider that naming them rustic implicates the notion of being a handmade elaborated craft. There are many woods that are used in the elaboration of rustic furniture; pine, cedar, almond tree, raft,the ca, among others, are the most recommended wood for the elaboration of furniture. In the moment of the elaboration or selection of the furniture the architectonic space should vitally be considered with the style of the piece that should be created. Also it is important at the time of choosing the accessories, that it fits the surroundings of which they are able to facade the lack of space, light and color.

My pals sunday and a heavy 8.5 kgs. of laundry!

My pal woke up late today very silent and slightly irritated, he probably woke up in the wrong side of his bed. Silently he gathered all those used cigarette scent stained laundry in a bag and the other 2 clay stained pair of shoes.

Since it was about 11:45 hing noon when he woke up he decided to take his lunch and fed me right after his meal. Right after that meal we went straight ahead out to get a laundry service then we went to church to hear the Sunday's gospel. Seemingly enlightening since I started to see smiles on his face right after we went out of the church.

After the mass we went to Robinson s Malate to pick some necessities and guess what?? we were able to see an album tour of Miss Karylle, yeah.. the celebrity. The daughter of an equally talented singer Ms Zsa Zsa Padilla. Her voice? nice... soothing.. not so perfect though just enough to make her the kind of celebrity she is right now...

What a day! Till then!

What do they want?

My pal's deployment date was moved MAY 29 , he's stranded in Manila!!!

Me and my pals mom was actually playing in the living room when the mobile of my pals' mom rang... ARF ARF !!! And my pal's mom hurriedly answered the phone, Her mom was seemingly surprised with whatever news she heard over the phone, later that day I learned that my pals deployment date was postponed to May 29.

Sadly my pal won't be coming home despite that as it would cost a lot amount of money if he would still come back to davao. That's sad. GRRRRR.. Whats nice though is that my pal will have a lot more time strolling and exploring the whole of METRO MANILA!!!!!

DAVId vs DAVID - the cook and archuleta bout, live in Manila

David Cook, the winner of American Idol Season 7 and the runner-up David Archuleta will stage a concert here in Manila! This is real fun news for season followers like me. News has it late last year that they will visit the Philippines January 2009. Well, this news item came out from a very reliable local broadsheet. According to the article, the concert might take place in Mall of Asia come first week of May 2009.

I’m looking forward to see the show. I hope David Archuleta will sing his version of last year’s Idol song “Time of My Life” – this would be interesting right?

MAY 11 2009 - my pal's last duty in DMC.

And he wrote;

I really cannot tell what I am feeling right now knowing that today is my last duty day in Davao Medical Center. I have passed my resignation letter already to the Chief Nurse and have already made my self cleared of any obligations in as far as DMC is concerned.

On May 13 we will be taking the first flight to manila via cebu pacific to rush for the PDOS on the afternoon of the same day. Our agent said that hopefully we will be leaving for UAE on May 17. The thing is that I haven't prepared so much and the worst is that I am even having hard time to look where to get for my allowances. Technically I am jobless as of now and as expected nobody will allow me for a loan as I am a 100 % jobless a bum! No work!

But I'm taking things positively though, still hoping that blessings will come, I heard they come in a surprise... Wish me luck Prince Rothe!

My pal went straight to his shower and cool down a bit. Without any fuss, he drove his self in to his blanket and took his seemingly nice nap... Good for him.. He's never gonna notice me!!! arf arf arf!!! No play? no cuddling?! No everything!! my pal is slowly turning into a monster!!! grrrrrrr...

Winner by TKO - Manny Pacquiao !!!

Arf arf !!! Manny Pacquaio did it again! My pals house went tumbling down after everybody knew Manny Pacquaio slated the latest knocked down of his fight. Ricky Hatton an equally deserving opponent failed to break the long standing wins of Manny Pacquiao.

It was on round 2 that Pacquiao's grand win happened. Right by Hatton early. Good combination by Pacquiao. He’s hurting Hatton with those shots. Right hook lands by Pacquiao. Three-punch combination by Pacquiao and Hatton wobbles. The speed is way too much for Hatton at this stage. Right hook again by Pacquiao. Hatton goes to body and is warned for holding and hitting. Straight left by Pacquiao and theny bang heads. Right by Hatton lands flush, Pacquiao takes it well. Combination from Pacquiao backs Hatton to corner. Right hook to body by Pacquiao. Left hand by Pacquiao knocks out Hatton. The fight is stopped at 2:59.

Pacquiao wins by knockout !!!

DOG NURSES - cool !

Therapy Dogs

Therapy Dogs

There are many uses for therapy dogs. They provide a general feeling of well being, unconditional affection, and can help people with specific therapy activities. There are two ways that therapy dogs can help -- through Animal Assisted Activities (AAA) and Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT).

Animal Assisted Activities are casual activities where people and pets connect. These meetings can happen anywhere, at any time, and help make tough situations a little easier for the people involved. These dogs might conduct visits to nursing homes, childcare facilities, schools, and even disaster sites. Though the dogs don't need any specialized training, it is important that they be calm and friendly and well behaved. These dogs work with lots of different people.

Animal Assisted Therapy is when an animal such as a therapy dog is an important part of someone's physical, social, and emotional therapy activities. For example, a physical therapist might work with a patient and therapy dog to improve their physical fitness. Dog grooming, walking and even Frisbee throwing can help with coordination, strength, and flexibility. These dogs require special training and work intensely with one person at a time.

ARF ! ARF !! ARF !

To bark or not to bark

Wolves rarely bark except as an alarm, but most dogs bark often and everywhere. There are alarm barks, "let-me-outside" barks, "I-want-to-play" barks, and more. All this barking may be a result of early breeding of the first dogs where humans selected for effective guarders -- more specifically, the noisiest!

One breed of dog never barks -- the African basenji.

Last laugh?

Recent research has discovered distinct vocalizations made by playing dogs. Could these sounds be dogs laughing? When researchers play the sounds for a group of dogs at rest, some of the dogs will grab toys and try to get their buddies to play.

DO THIS !

Try This at Home

Can you rely on your sense of smell to solve a mystery? Put on a blindfold. Have a friend or family member hold up different types of food or spices to your nose one at a time. Can you tell what each "mystery item" is just by smelling?

A DOG NOSE...

Dogs experience the world nose-first

A dog learning to discriminate smells - accuracy is positively reinforced with toys or treats

How does a dog get the neighborhood news? Through its nose! Of all a dog's senses, its sense of smell is the most highly developed. Dogs have about 25 times more olfactory (smell) receptors than humans do. These receptors occur in special sniffing cells deep in a dog's snout and are what allow a dog to "out-smell" humans.

A dog sniffing out a landmine

Dogs can sense odors at concentrations nearly 100 million times lower than humans can. They can detect one drop of blood in five quarts of water! Sniffing the bare sidewalk may seem crazy, but it yields a wealth of information to your dog, whether it's the scent of the poodle next door or a whiff of the bacon sandwich someone dropped last week.

When a dog breathes normally, air doesn't pass directly over the smell receptors. But when the dog takes a deep sniff, the air travels all the way to the smell receptors, near the back of the dog's snout. So for a dog, sniffing is a big

HUHUHU.. mah Pals' on a worry-mode' (sigh...)

Just recently my pal's mom went to his house to have herself examined. Her mother had not been feeling so well lately. My pal is actually a nurse so he decided to look at her mom personally, she had the laboratories checked, ECG and the vital signs. Apparently my pal found out that her mom was suffering from ISH - that's Isolated Systolic Hypertension; a disease very common among elderly.

My pal has been doing a lot of readings lately, he's kinda stressed out how to properly deal with the ailment of her mom. That's so sad. We haven't been playing since then,.. But I know My pal can find ways on how to alleviate her mom's condition... huhuhu.. (sigh..)

OUR NOT SO FRIENDLY FRIENDS - THE CATS !

Myths and Facts About Cats

Are these statements true or false?

  • Cats always land on their feet.
  • Cats should drink milk everyday.

The correct answer to both is FALSE.

These are common misunderstandings that veterinarians frequently hear from pet owners, according to the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Following is a list of popular myths that AAHA veterinarians and The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) would like to dispel.

Myth: Cats always land on their feet.
Fact: While cats instinctively fall feet first and may survive falls from high places, they also may receive broken bones in the process. Some kind of screening on balconies and windows can help protect pets from disastrous falls.

Myth: Cats should drink milk everyday.
Fact: Most cats like milk, but do not need it if properly nourished. Also, many will get diarrhea if they drink too much milk. If it is given at all, the amount should be small and infrequent.

Myth: Cats that are spayed or neutered automatically gain weight.
Fact: Like people, cats gain weight from eating too much, not exercising enough or both. In many cases, spaying or neutering is done at an age when the animal's metabolism already has slowed, and its need for food has decreased. If the cat continues to eat the same amount, it may gain weight. Cat owners can help their cats stay fit by providing exercise and not over-feeding.

Myth: Cats cannot get rabies.
Fact: Actually, most warm-blooded mammals, including cats, bats, skunks and ferrets, can carry rabies. Like dogs, cats should be vaccinated regularly according to local laws.

Myth: Indoor cats cannot get diseases.
Fact: Cats still are exposed to organisms that are carried through the air or brought in on a cat owner's shoes or clothing. Even the most housebound cat ventures outdoors at some time and can be exposed to diseases and worms through contact with other animals feces.

Myth: Tapeworms come from bad food.
Fact: Pets become infected with tape worms from swallowing fleas, which carry the parasite. Also, cats can get tapeworms from eating infected mice or other exposed animals.

Myth: Putting garlic on a pet's food will get rid of worms.
Fact: Garlic may make the animal's food taste better but has no effect on worms. The most effective way to treat worms is by medication prescribed by a veterinarian.

Myth: Pregnant women should not own cats.
Fact: Some cats can be infected with a disease called toxoplasmosis, which occasionally can be spread to humans through cat litter boxes and cause serious problems in unborn babies. However, these problems can be controlled, if the expectant mother avoids contact with the litter box and assigns daily cleaning to a friend or other family member.

Myth: A cat's sense of balance is in its whiskers.
Fact: Cats use their whiskers as "feelers" but not to maintain their balance.

Myth: Animals heal themselves by licking their wounds.
Fact: Such licking actually can slow the healing process and further damage the wound.

For the most accurate information on these and other concerns about pet health care, the American Animal Hospital Association and The Cat Fanciers' Association advise cat owners to contact a veterinarian.

The AAHA is an international association of more than 12,000 veterinarians who treat companion animals, such as cats and dogs. The association is well-known among veterinarians for its high standards for hospitals and pet health care.

The CFA is the world's largest registry of pedigreed cats and has reaffirmed its commitment to the promotion of the welfare of ALL cats, pedigreed or random bred.

YOUR DOG'S INTELLIGENCE

When choosing a dog, breed intelligence and temperament, among other things, are important considerations. If you already have a dog, how does your breed measure up?

Intelligence can be measured in more ways than one. Problem solving ability and instinctive ability are important qualities in a dog but, when tested in obedience alone, a dog trainers'survey produced some interesting results. When dog breeds were temperament tested by the American Temperament Testing Society, even more surprising results were recorded.

Alfons Ertel established the American Temperament Testing Society (ATTS) in 1977. The test simulates a casual walk through a park and focuses on stability, shyness, aggressiveness, and friendliness as well as the dog's instinct for protectiveness toward its handler, and/or self-preservation. The test is for all breeds and is uniform throughout the country. Approximately one thousand test events have been held, with 26,615 dogs tested as of December 2005 and 21,615 dogs have earned TT titles.

BITs N PIECES

Special cells help with smelling

The olfactory or smell receptors are located within special sniffing cells called ethmoidal cells. These are found deep in a dog's snout in structures called turbinates.

An illustration of the nasal cavity of a typical dog - the red areas represent smell receptor areas

An incredible accomplishment

In one experiment, a line of 12 men followed each other, stepping in each other's footprints. After walking for a distance, each man went left or right to hide. The dog was then asked to find its owner who was the first man in the line of 12. The dog had no problem finding its owner's scent, even though it had been mixed with that of 11 other people.

First Aid for Dog Bites

As with other wounds, you should stop any bleeding by putting pressure on the wound and then clean the area extensively. Since dog bites are at big risk of becoming infected, most children should take 3-7 days of an antibiotic, usually Augmentin, to prevent an infection from developing. Keep in mind that most dog bites aren't sutured closed, because of this risk of infection. Bites on the face, or those considered to be 'clean' or quickly seen by the doctor may be sutured at times.

Other preventative measures that you may need to take include getting your child a tetanus shot if they have had less than three doses. Even if they have had three or more tetanus shots, if they have a bite that is not considered clean and minor, they may need a tetanus shot if it is been more than 5 years since their last one. Children with clean, minor bites may also need a tetanus booster if their last one was more than 10 years ago. Since most kids have had 4 tetanus shots by 18 months of age and a booster at 4 and 12 years, they may not need another one after a dog bite.

A talking dog

Canine Communication

You know that dogs don't talk -- at least not the way that people talk. But dogs do communicate with each other. They use facial expressions, body language, and vocalizations like barks and growls to let each other know what they are feeling

RABIES - it kills...

About Rabies

Rabies infections in people are rare in the United States. However, worldwide about 50,000 people die from rabies each year, mostly in developing countries where programs for vaccinating dogs against rabies don't exist. But the good news is that problems can be prevented if the exposed person receives treatment before symptoms of the infection develop.

Rabies is a virus that in the U.S. is usually transmitted by a bite from a wild infected animal, such as a bat, raccoon, skunk, or fox. If a bite from a rabid animal goes untreated and an infection develops, it is almost always fatal.

If you suspect that your child has been bitten by a rabid animal, go to the emergency department immediately. Any animal bites — even those that don't involve rabies — can lead to infections and other medical problems. As a precaution, call your doctor any time your child has been bitten.
Transmission

About 7,000 cases of rabies in animals are reported each year to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Raccoons are the most common carriers of rabies in the United States, but bats are most likely to infect people. Almost three quarters of rabies cases between 1990 and 2001 came from contact with bats.

Skunks and foxes also can be infected with rabies, and a few cases have been reported in wolves, coyotes, bobcats, and ferrets. Small rodents such as hamsters, squirrels, chipmunks, mice, and rabbits are very rarely infected with the virus.

Because of widespread vaccination programs in the United States, transmission from dogs to people is very rare. Outside the United States, exposure to rabid dogs is the most common cause of transmission to humans.

An infected animal has the rabies virus in its saliva and can transmit it to a person through biting. In rarer cases, an animal can spread the virus when its saliva comes in contact with a person's mucous membranes (moist skin surfaces, like the mouth or inner eyelids) or broken skin such as a cut, scratch, bruise, or open wound.

After a bite, the rabies virus can spread into surrounding muscle, then travel up nearby nerves to the brain. Once the virus reaches the brain, the infection is fatal in almost all cases

Signs and Symptoms

The first symptoms can appear from a few days to more than a year after the bite occurs.

One of the most distinctive signs of a rabies infection is a tingling or twitching sensation around the area of the animal bite. It is often accompanied by a fever, headache, muscle aches, loss of appetite, nausea, and fatigue.

As the infection progresses, someone infected with rabies may develop any of these symptoms:

* irritability
* excessive movements or agitation
* confusion
* hallucinations
* aggressiveness
* bizarre or abnormal thoughts
* muscle spasms
* abnormal postures
* seizures (convulsions)
* weakness or paralysis (when a person cannot move some part of the body)
* extreme sensitivity to bright lights, sounds, or touch
* increased production of saliva or tears
* difficulty speaking

In the advanced stage of the infection, as it spreads to other parts of the nervous system, these symptoms may develop:

* double vision
* problems moving facial muscles
* abnormal movements of the diaphragm and muscles that control breathing
* difficulty swallowing and increased production of saliva, causing the "foaming at the mouth" usually associated with a rabies infection

If Your Child Is Bitten by an Animal

If your child has been bitten by an animal, take the following steps right away:

* Wash the bite area with soap and water for 10 minutes and cover the bite with a clean bandage.
* Immediately call your doctor and go to a nearby emergency department. Anyone with a possible rabies infection must be treated in a hospital.
* Call local animal-control authorities to help find the animal that caused the bite. The animal may need to be detained and observed for signs of rabies.
* If you know the owner of the animal that has bitten your child, get all the information about the animal, including vaccination status and the owner's name and address. Notify your local health department, particularly if the animal hasn't been vaccinated.
* If you suspect that your child has been bitten by an unknown dog, bat, rat, or other animal, contact your doctor immediately or take your child to the emergency department.

Treatment

At the hospital, it is likely that the doctor will first clean the wound thoroughly and make sure that your child's tetanus immunizations are current.

To keep any potential infection from spreading, the doctor may decide to start treating your child right away with shots of human rabies immune globulin to the wound site and vaccine shots in the arm. This decision is usually based on the circumstances of the bite (provoked or unprovoked), the type of animal (species, wild or domestic), the animal's health history (vaccinated or not), and the recommendations of local health authorities.
Prevention

You can reduce the chances that your family is exposed to rabies. Vaccinate your pets — dogs, cats, and ferrets can be infected by rabies. Report any stray animals to your local health authorities or animal-control officer. Remind kids that animals can be "strangers," too. They should never touch or feed stray cats or dogs wandering in the neighborhood or elsewhere.

As a precaution against rabies or any other infections, call your doctor if:

* your child has been exposed to an animal that might have rabies, but is too young to describe the contact with the animal
* your child has been exposed to bats, even if there is no bite
* you plan to travel abroad and may come into contact with rabid animals, particularly if you're traveling to an area where you might not have access to health care

SCOOBY DOO BEE DOOOO....

Scooby-Doo is a long-running American animated series produced for Saturday morning television in several different versions from 1969 to the present. The original series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, was created for Hanna-Barbera Productions by writers Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, CBS executive Fred Silverman, and character designer Iwao Takamoto. Hanna-Barbara produced numerous spin-offs and related works until being absorbed in 2001 into Warner Bros. Animation, which has handled production since then. Although the format of the show and the cast (and ages) of characters have varied significantly over the years, the most familiar versions of the show feature a talking dog named Scooby Dooby Doo and four teenagers or young adults: Fred "Freddie" Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Norville "Shaggy" Rogers.

These five characters (officially collectively known as "Mystery, Inc.", but never referred to as such in the original series) drive around in the Mystery Machine van , solving mysteries by exposing seemingly otherworldly ghosts and monsters as flesh and blood crooks. Later versions of Scooby-Doo featured different variations on the show's supernatural theme, and include characters such as Scooby's cousin Scooby-Dum and nephew Scrappy-Doo in addition to or instead of some of the original characters.

Scooby-Doo was originally broadcast on CBS from 1969 to 1976, when it moved to ABC. ABC aired the show until canceling it in 1986, and presented a spin-off, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, from 1988 until 1991, which featured the characters as children. The series was revived for the WB Network's Kids' WB programming block as What's New, Scooby-Doo?, which ran from 2002 until 2006. The most recent Scooby-Doo series, Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!, ran from 2006 to 2008 on The CW network; a new series, Scooby-Doo - Mystery, Inc., will begin airing on the Cartoon Network in 2009.

Chained Dogs on Valentine's Day and All Year - HAPPY VALENTINES TO ALL!!!

Thousands of family dogs in America spend their lives tied to chains. Although there are laws in some states and communities restricting chaining and tethering, each winter, dogs are found by rescuers frozen in the snow, suffering from frostbite and enduring unlivable conditions. In the hot sun they fare no better when they often go thirsty and are susceptible to heat stroke. And besides harsh weather, dogs are social animals that thrive on interaction with people. Continuously chaining a dog leads to loneliness, boredom, frustration and often times aggression.

For these reasons, Feb. 7 to 14 has been designated as the annual "Have a Heart for Chained Dogs Week" by Dogs Deserve Better, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to freeing and helping chained dogs. Each year DDB sponsors activities that the public can participate in to help chained dogs. The following are ways you can help on Valentine's Day and any other day of the year.

THE SILENT DOG - Snoopy.

Snoopy D. Hill is a fictional character in the long-running comic strip Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz. He is Charlie Brown's pet beagle. Snoopy began his life in the strip as a fairly ordinary dog, but eventually evolved into perhaps the strip's most dynamic character — and among the most recognizable comic characters in the world. The original drawings of Snoopy were based on Schulz's childhood dogs, Snooky and Spike.

Snoopy, whose fictional birthday has been established as October 2, made his first appearance on the strip October 4, 1950, two days after the strip premiered. He was first identified by name on November 10. Schulz was originally going to call him "Sniffy" (as described in 25th anniversary book), until he discovered that name was used in a different comic strip. He changed it to "Snoopy" after remembering that his late mother Dena Schulz had commented that if their family were ever to acquire a third dog, it should be called Snoopi.[2] In earlier strips it is not clear who Snoopy belongs to; for instance in the February 2, 1951 strip, Charlie Brown accuses Snoopy of following him, only to be told by Patty that Snoopy isn't following Charlie Brown but merely lives in the same direction.[3] Indeed many early strips show Snoopy interacting with Shermy (who is shown in one early strip running with Snoopy on his leash) and Patty without Charlie Brown, making Snoopy appear to belong to all of the neighborhood kids, similar to the dog Pete in the Our Gang comedies, who is everyone's dog.

Snoopy was a silent character for the first two years of his existence, but on May 27, 1952 he verbalized his thoughts to readers for the first time via a thought balloon; Schulz would utilize this device for nearly all of the character's appearances in the strip thereafter. In addition to Snoopy's ability to "speak" his thoughts to the reader, many of the human characters in Peanuts have the uncanny knack of reading his thoughts and responding to them. In the animated Peanuts films and television specials, Snoopy's thoughts are not verbalized; his moods are instead conveyed through growls, sobs, laughter, etc., as well as through pantomime and foreign languages. The only exceptions are in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Snoopy!!! The Musical, in which Snoopy's thoughts are verbalized through voiceovers (by Robert Towers and Cam Clarke, respectively). Animation producer Bill Meléndez voiced both Snoopy and (eventually) Woodstock in numerous television specials from 1965 to 2006. He does however shout "HEY!" in It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown before dancing with some rabbits.

HERCULES

Hercules: The World's Biggest Dog Ever According to Guinness World Records

Hercules was recently awarded the honorable distinction of Worlds Biggest Dog by Guinness World Records. Hercules is an English Mastiff and has a 38 inch neck and weighs 282 pounds.

With "paws the size of softballs" (reports the Boston Herald), the three-year-old monster is far larger and heavier than his breed's standard 200lb. limit. Hercules owner Mr. Flynn says that Hercules weight is natural and not induced by a bizarre diet: "I fed him normal food and he just grew".... and grew. and grew.

My cuzz - IKAY

Here's an email from my bro about his doggy wonder - IKAY

Woke up late this morning, prayed a little and started roaming my eyes around the corners of my small house.Noticeably IKAY my lovely pet is amazingly quiet during that morning. Fascinating because I haven't seen a drop of her pee in my floor and not even a stain of her yucky "poopoo".
And whats more strange is that she doesn't seem so noisy during that morning. She used to be so untiringly barking during the early times of the morning. Well I thought she has totally gained some manners, and she's just trying to behave the way I want her too.
So routinely, I got her bottle of vitamins which she liked so much. I got a dropper washed it clean and had a dose of IKayz vitamins.. And what a beeeyatchh ikay truly is!!! inside her mouth was a portion of the cord of my nokia mobile phone!!! She had it torned into pieces the whole night! No wonder she's so extra ordinarily behaved during that morning....
GRRRRRRR....
Bad dog! Bad Ikay!

The history of the St. Bernard dog would not be complete without reference being made to the noble work that he has done in Switzerland, his native land. How the Hospice St. Bernard kept a considerable number of dogs which were trained to go over the mountains with small barrels round their necks, containing restoratives, in the event of their coming across any poor travellers who had either lost their way, or had been overcome by the cold. We have been told that the intelligent animals saved many lives in this
way, the subjects of their deliverance often being found entirely buried in the snow.
Breed History of the St Bernard

Handsome as the St. Bernard is, with his attractive colour andmarkings, he is a cross-bred dog. From the records of old writers it is to be gathered that to refill the kennels at the Hospice which had been rendered vacant from the combined catastrophes of distemperand the fall of an avalanche which had swept away nearly all their hounds, the monks were compelled to have recourse to a cross with the Newfoundland and the Pyrenean sheepdog, the latter not unlike the St. Bernard in size and appearance. Then, again, there is no doubt whatever that at some time the Bloodhound has been introduced, and it is known for a certainty that almost all the most celebrated St. Bernards in England at the present time are closely allied to the Mastiff.

Historical Character of the St. Bernard

The result of all this intermixture of different breeds has been the production of an exceedingly fine race of dogs, which form one of the most attractive features at our dog shows, and are individually excellent guards and companions. As a companion, the St. Bernard cannot be surpassed, when a large dog is required for the purpose. Most docile in temperament and disposition, he is admirably suited as the associate of a lady or a child.

The St. Bernard is sensitive to a degree, and seldom forgets an insult, which he resents with dignity. Specimens of the breed have occasionally been seen that are savage, but when this is the case ill-treatment of some sort has assuredly been the provoking cause.

Small Pup Frendz - my pals!

Because dogs are not classified by their height small dogs come from a variety of different groups, some from the Toy Dog Group, others from the Terrier Group. But irregardless of what group these dogs belong they still are the same very playful cute dogs you know.

Here are some pics of my friends some you know, others you rarely meet. But you see they are the most precious pals I've got. I actually happen to grab some of their pics for you to be able to familiarize some of their doggy faces. mwuah!

STROLLING ...

My pal seemed very enthusiastic today. He probably woke up in the right side of the bed. After feeding me, we actually had a walk with in the subdivision. Many dogs were also there, some nice looking others not so nice looking.

We stopped by a near basketball court where my pal played for few hours while I was left on the corner with some other nice dogs. I had my canine eyes glued on that charming japaneze spitz roaming around the court. Very white and seemingly very clean... arf arf arf!! wished I get to meet this spitzy again... grrrrrr..

Popular Dog Name

Naming your dog is a personal decision, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First try to choose a name without too many syllables, it's easier for you to say especially in an emergency and it's easier for your dog to understand.

If you have more than one pet, keep there names as different sounding as possible so they don't get confused, this makes it easier when calling out for one of your pets. You may not want to use one of the more popular dog names to avoid confusion around other dogs, I can tell you from experience the most popular names for Rotweliers are Bear and Tank. If I was to own one I would definitely stay away from these names.

Have fun naming your dogs - by the way I am
